A seamless transition from Momentum to Motosumo

Switching from Momentum to Motosumo may appear challenging, but rest assured, we're here to help!

This guide will help you get started and dive in.

Setting Up Motosumo: Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. Download Motosumo: Simply navigate to the App Store or Play Store to download the app (Download Motosumo for free on iOS and Android.).

  2. Registration: Register using the same email as you have for Momentum. This will make it easier to transfer your workout data.

  3. Fill out your profile details. This helps in providing personalized workout advice and generating accurate training data.

  4. Transferring Workouts: if you've used the same email, you should receive an email with a link to migrate your workouts.

    • If you haven't received the email, don't worry. Follow the instructions below to transfer your workouts.

      • Open Motosumo, go to the "😀You" tab, select ⚙️Settings, and click on 'Transfer Momentum Workouts.'

      • This will trigger an email. Check your email and click the button to begin the transfer. (Note: Be sure to check all inboxes and spam).

  5. Customizing Your Profile: Adding a profile picture will make your account more personable.

    • You can change your profile picture by navigating to 😀You → Avatar (Camera icon) at the top of the page, and then either taking a new photo or choosing one from your photo library.

Finding the Right Class

Once you’ve successfully set up your Motosumo account, you're ready to explore our various classes.

Motosumo offers a wider variety of classes compared to Momentum, including live classes led by our seasoned Motosumo instructors.

There are many ways to work out with Motosumo. Work out solo at home or ride with your gym team:

Exercising Solo

Simply click the "Ride at home or in the gym" card under the “Just Ride” banner to begin your workout and pedal away.

With a Group

For Team Workouts, click the “Ride at home or in the gym” card under the “Just Ride” banner.

  • If you're an instructor, Press the 'Teams' icon (the three people icon under the Bluetooth icon) and “Create a team.”

    • Share the code with your riders.

  • For those joining a team, start a “Just Ride” session and press the "Teams” icon (the three people icon under the Bluetooth icon) and “Join a Team.”

    • Type in the 4-digit code shown to the team leader/instructor on your app to join your team.

Syncing With Strava

  • If you were syncing your Momentum workouts with Strava, you'll need to reestablish this connection. Simply go to You → Settings → Services → Strava and follow the prompts.

Instructor Features

  • Motosumo is designed to help you provide an enhanced workout experience for your team members. You can use emojis, timers, and games to motivate your team to achieve their personal bests.

Setting Up the Team Display

  • With the Team Display, you can see an overview of your entire team, visualise races, and show timers and emojis.

Free Vs Premium Motosumo

Motosumo offers both free and premium versions.

The free version will occasionally show ads before, after, and sometimes during classes.

If you prefer an ad-free experience with extra perks like trophies and achievements, consider upgrading to our premium version.
